The most you might see out of it would be a 396-402 setup... Not a 454 that would take a .250+ overbore... Best to start with a 427-454 block...

the 366 can't be bored out to 454 size. It would be real thin past 030, not a great block to start with, lots of core shift, and most small blocks can be made BIGGER, cheaper.

Any automotive block that comes from the factory has limits on overbore size.....You can never ever make a blanket statement that any certin block will go .125" over.. IMO any block bored over .060" or more needs sonic checked in a performance application... Stock rebuilds can get away with a fudge factor here...
