Not surprising. Everything you buy is made in China. Hopefully someday people will be fed up with it and start boycotting products that come from there but it will take everybody to stand together. I went to buy a US flag one day and guess where it was made....yep China.

I hate to say it but they don't look to bad.

Good question Killer because you know "Hopefully someday people will be fed up with it and start boycotting products that come from there but it will take everybody to stand together."

Hell no I didn't buy it. It I can't get a US flag made in the USA then I won't fly one. Another thing that pisses me off to is that you are supposed to respect the flag, don't let it get wet, keep a light on it at night, fold it correctly, yet when you buy one it is shoved into a plastic bag hanging on a shelf. BTW I did find one made in the US.

The US is slowly moving towards a 'Service Industry' nation. We don't manufacture as many goods as we used to after WWII because the competition knew that 'quality' sold the product better than whatever we were producing. That's why we trade so much. Thank God we grow our own food though.

At least that's what I was taught (brainwashed) in macroeconomics 2 semesters ago.

Keep an eye on China, guys. It's a sleeping giant starting to awake. It producing more goods for the world market (more than it's buying except for oil) and is also starting to use a very sizable amount of fuel. I think it may be number two now in oil use. (High prices, less oil available, hhhmmmm) a nation with that many people can create a govt. with a lot of clout in the near future. It's not quite to where Japan was in the 50's but it's starting. (Just a little current events).

Hmmm...perhaps a little "police action" might be required to correct the "red menace". Plastic wrapped Flags, it's heresy I tell ya! Maybe if they included a little light in the package to illuminate the product and put ventilation holes in the packaging it would prevent this desecration.

You know, I'll bet those box cutters used to highjack those planes were made in China! Hey, I just noticed my computer is almost completely made in China too! I just went to check out my Canadian Flag and it said "Proudly made in the US" on it! Gonna have to keep my eye on you Americans, your not trying to take over the world...again...are you?

Hmmmmm...

They look almost identical to the Nissan and Toyota pickup and SUV to me.
CHINESE TRUCKS

TOYOTA AND NISSAN TRUCKS

Looks like someone bought some old tooling to build new trucks....And just to think about this for a second....
"David Shelburg, 75, of Scottsdale, Ariz., says his company, China Motor, has signed up dealers in California and Arizona to sell the vehicles. He wants to distribute a lineup that includes two sport-utility vehicles, two pickups and two cars."

Some people just need to be eliminated from this Earth!

Chinese car manufacturing is the beginning of the end for our economy if they can keep their crap together and make decent cars. THe labor they pay in china is so much lower than US of Japan that we'll never be able to compete.

At the rate of Chinese economic expansion (almost 10% a year!) they'll over take us as the next wold superpower in the next 5-10 years.

Learn Chinese, you'll need it.
