Made me a gear lever boot.
Made me a gear lever boot and freshed up the ugly wrecking yard hand brake a bit.

no seam ring
When you install the carpet, you can make a no seam ring around the hole. You place the vinyl-leather face down on the carpet, carpet face up , the material should overlap the hole about 2 inches. sew the material in about 1/2 inch from the hole. then cut out the hole in the vinyl at least 1/4 fron stitches then pull the material thru the hole and back under from the hole and tack stitch to hold it out.
