Magnets..... I have to tell a funny thing that happened to me back in the engineering days.

I had designed an air handling system with a metal trap using a very strong rare earth magnet. It arrived one day and was dropped off at my desk. I unwrapped it and had it resting on my lap...all 10 pounds of it, when the phone rang. Naturally I rolled my chair forward under the desk. Just as I picked up the phone the magnet came close to the bottom of the center drawer of the desk and ...WHAM it stuck itself firmly and loudly to the bottom of the desk drawer.

Pry as I could I could not get it off the drawer. I finally had to take the drawer off and go out to the shop where we managed to wedge a screwdriver under the magnet and slipped it onto a piece of plywood. It was still stuck hard but we slid it over the edge of the drawer and finally broke the tension.

And so another lesson learned the hard way....respect those big magnets.
LOLOL, funny stuff.
