making custom headers???

Im trying to find a way to make some custom headers
for my '63 impala 230cid. Im currently looking into buying
some shorty 350 headers, cause they resemble somewhat
the layout of the inline 6 headers....

Clifford shorty headers......

Chevy 350 headers.......

The 350 headers need to be cut and elongated some, also one
of the tubes has to be cut and capped at the collector but they seem
to be a really close match, what do you guys think...Could this work and be
a cheaper alternative or isn't worth the time......Also is there any
other headers that im missing that would be a cheaper to convert...
I know if i just buy the clifford i'll save me a bunch of headaches, but i
just don't have that kind of budget, specially just for the headers, you could
almost rebuild a whole engine with $300++ dollars..
thanks for any input. comments are welcomed.

re header

Try some flexable headers, easier, faster, and probably will look better.
