Red face making ford aod work in street rod?

I'm building a 1936 Plymouth coupe street rod and I have a 1985 Ford 5.0 and auto overdrive from a Lincoln Mark 7 I want to install in it. I will be running a performance intake and four barrel carb. on the engine (no fuel inj.) What do I need to have and to know to get the trans. to work correctly?

Cool

gary........ read , learn and follow the info on the sites that KULTULZ posted.

Very important that the TV linkage operation is correct for an AOD.
