Making a paint booth - Will this fan be safe?

Hello, this is my first post.

I'm in the process of prepping and painting my 85' Shelby Charger. I was gonna make a downdraft makeshift paint booth in my garage with house box fans for air intake and no exhaust fan(s) so it would be all positive air and it would flow out without an exhaust fan (of course all filtered). With this setup, I wasn't sure if there would be enough air circulation.

Last night I was cleaning my garage up some and I found my old radiator fan I bought from summitracing.com. It runs off 12v DC, looks enclosed and seems to have alot of airflow.

Could I use this as an exhaust fan?

thanks for any help,
Tom

Yes, that motor is sealed so there is zero problem w/ explosion. If they really put out ~3000cfm that is plenty. I have a 3000cfm swamp cooler (w/ exposed motor!), wrapped with commercial paint boot filter material, blowing out in my paint booth and it works great.

Incidentally, I have that exact fan as a blower on the radiator of my Willys!
