Makita 18v lithium ion batteries
 

Just want to give you a heads up. These batteries are junk. They will die on you fast and each battery is $75. I had two go bad within a year. Just wanted to get that out cause I heard the same thing on line.

I've had a pair since Feb this year, we'll see...

I have the 18 volt drill and driver set with the batteries- have had the set
for 3 years used daily as a carpenter and have replaced one battery. There
are different series in 18 volt Makitas- I would not buy the ones that are
not Makita green. The driver is my most used tool! Jim
