Attempting to remove the rotor from a Mallory Unilite Electronic Ignition Distributor. I did not see any screws holding the rotor down, does the rotor just pop off? Tips ?? Thanks in advance.... Please see attached pics...

Pull on the rotor and it will come off, they are pretty tight.

Follow-up ?

Is the black disk shown in the pic considered part of the rotor, or just the red rotor top? Where do I pull from? In other words, I need to see the points/? compartment.

Joker, you may want to inspect the advance mechanism on your Unilite. The pin for one of the advance weights broke and ended up shoving the rotor up into the cap. It was probably just a freak thing but I thought I'd give you a heads up.
