Post manifolds:old vs. new?

I am running a 1970's Offenhauser 360* dualport hi rise. How does this compare with the new dual planes? Are there any real substantial changes in the performances of these intakes, old compared with new, if they were comparitivley run on the same motor setup?

The new intakes will prolly make more power and torque but I think as long as the "old" one is matched to the setup that replaceing it will not get enough HP to notice.

Of course new manifolds are superior to the old. In the last 30 years technology of this industry has advanced dramatically. I think I would invest in phone call to Offenhauser's Tech Line and ask the man who knows. It may be that given your engines ignition, exhaust, carburetion, and cam the new manifold may not be the way to go.
