manual or automatic?

do u perfer manual or automatic?..

and if you already have an automatic.. how hard would it be to change to a manual?...

its a 65 chevy pick-up with a 350 in it

I personally don't like automatics. I like big cams with lots of duration, and running a big stall on the street makes me nervous. Plus, it's easy to push the clutch in to rap the motor while cruisin along. I have fun in my hot rods, and to me, automatic doesn't say fun...
Switch to a manual isn't too bad. You just need to get the linkage/pedal (if they made if for your truck), along with a shifter that's going to suit your needs. The hardest part would probably be finding that stuff...

The most recent vehicle I own is a auto. First one ever. Takes a liitle while to get used to. I still reach for the clutch and gear lever. Thinking about switching to a manual though, gettin board with the auto. Even if it does shift hard.

I have converted many an auto to manual and it isn't that hard....Just buy the parts....and don't ask how hard it is you just need to do it......

i was just wonderin what all do i have to do .. i know i have to cut a hole in the floor for a shifter.. but what else?..
