Manual Holley carb on auto car need kickdown help
I bought 600cfm carb off ebay and it never even occoured to me to think about the kickdown linkage untill I bolted it onto the intake manifold. It was decent price and runs good. Can I change out the throttle shafts or is there another option?
BTW, it's a 4150 vaccum secondary with elec. choke. Last edited by sleepr; 08-10-2005 at 12:53 PM. |

Holley makes an adaptor bracket to allow use with an automatic kick down linkage or cable.
They are universal and should fit with little problem. When you buy an 1850 or 3310 brand new, the bracket used to be in the box. I am sure Holley has not changed on that. Go to holley's site and look for it. http://www.holley.com/data/Catalogs/Holley(1-136).pdf start on page 93 and look at the different brackets available. |
