Manual SBC Tranny?

I'm new to the models of transmissions for a SBC, so I need some help.

I'm considering going with a manual transmission for my build. I'm looking for pretty much the manual equivalent to a th350 (reliable, durable, and easy on the wallet). Must hold up the 400-450 hp. Can be a 3 spd. Something with over drive would be nice, but not necessary.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Munci or a saginaw

If you can find a world class T-5 those are great but ratios are a bit off in the truck tannys..

you dont want a 3 speed.....trust me.....

EDIT: Here.....you might can use this.

Saginaws will not handle 400hp, though they are similar to the muncie with gear size, the pitch is different and the gears are not shimmed properly and do not mesh right. there is about 1/4 of the primary to cluster gear not meshing at all

muncies mesh perfectly and will handle 400hp all day
m22 rock crusher will handle even higher
