Manual Valve body

Im highly considering putting a manual valve body in my TH350 (no trans break).
I have two questions

Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what ones are good and what ones to stay away from...Would love to hear your thoughts and opinions

also, when installing a manual valve body would it now be worthless to also install a shift kit with this as well or should one stick with what is supplied with the MVB kit??

The manual VB will not require a shift kit, it will be calibrated for firm shifts.

I have used the Coan TH350 forward pattern MVB and they retain the 1-2 accumulator function.
