Map sensor

Im having trouble locating the map sensor on 86 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 5.0 TPI. Could somebody explain where this is located. Thank you for your help.

That's because the TPI did not start using MAP sensors (Speed-Density) until 1990. A stock 86' TPI is a MAF system. Ed www.edgesz28.com
