Marine carb

I have a spare 65 chevy pickup, a spare vortec 350, and a spare marine holley 650. That sounds like a recipe, doesn't it?

Aside from maybe hacking the J-vent tubes and drilling for a vacuum port, what else needs to happen to put that carb on the street?

Sounds Like A Good Gravy To Me

Hey Man, sounds like a good engine to me, I would not do anything to the carburetor, period. Get your vacuum from the manifold. The marine carburetors in my experience are dyno jetted for cams in the 220@ .050 range which on a car is real sweet street jetting. I know you know, but I would sweeten the pot with a mild bump stick. I have been sitting on a sweet quadrajet marine carb for the same purpose. I've got a roller cam vortec engine in my stash too! olnolan
