marine style intake

does any body know what is invovled when installing the marine style intake on a l31? the motor is going in a 96 chevy silverado.

-computer?
-fuel lines?
-vacuum lines...

are you talking about the vortec type marine intake?

yes i am talking about the vortec marine style intake i believe it has the injectors on the outside with two fuel rails instead of having the injector lines inside the intake manifold. i am a newbie sorry if some things a hard to understand.

This intake is a TPI base. Will you be running TPI?

retune the PCM for the new larger injectors
Run lines from the drivers side back of the engine to the fuel rails of teh marine intake
Stock vacuum lines must be retained if you want to retain EVAPorative emissions equipement.

I like mine.
