Marker for leather and vinyl.
 

Armysniper is curious what I sent to Alan to mark on leather and vinyl. This is a Fisher R80SL Long retractable ball point pen with silver ink that wipes off of the leather or vinyl with a rag and some mild cleaner. Now you see it........now you don't. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread! They're available online. Fisher is the guy who invented the space pen which writes upside down and in zero gravity. The astronauts used his pens which are still made. (The russians just used a pencil!)

I use what is commonly known as a freezer pencil. Available in red, white, black. Used in the meat packing plants. Writes on just about anything, won't bleed thru vinyl because it is a waxed based material.

I tried Dan's silver pens and they work well ... although a finer line would make me happier, at least they do the job.

Where do you get these freezer pencils, Bob? Do they mark well? Is it a fine line or fat?

The freezer pecil is the best!

I got some white pencils that work great ... and they wipe off with a damp rag real well, too!

Where do you get these freezer pencils? Do they make a clean, fine line? And do they wipe off easily?
