marshall crate motor

I ran across a 305 chevy motor and it is a new rebuilt marshall crate motor. it was rebuilt abut ten years ago and still turns over freely. The motor has zero miles on it. It does not have any provision for mechanical fuel pump so i have to go with an electrical. Does anyone know if a marshall motor is any good or if this motor is good after sitting. also is there a lot of work involved into switching over to electric fuel pump.thanks

If you want a 305 and its cheap enough to justify the gamble? I dont have a use for a 305 even if it was free. Do you have a home for it?

whats wrong with your engine? All I could find looks like the marshal engines are just rebuilt stock replacements. No mention of any special parts.
