Take it apart and measure the bore. Post a photo, maybe someone will recognize the make and model. If you like the way the brakes feel to you now, then replace it with another cylinder with the same bore size or rebuild the one you have. If you want the car to be easier to stop with less leg pressure than you currently have to give, then go with a smaller bore size cylinder. The pedal will travel further, but the car will stop easier. If the pedal travels too far now and the brakes are touchy, then you can go with the next up bore size. It will require more leg pressure to stop the car, but the pedal travel will be reduced.
