Master cylinder

I am putting a 63 Corvette master cylinder on a 28 Ford coupe. Does anyone know if their is a built in residual valve for the rear drum brakes or do I need to install a 10 lb residual valve?
Thanks

HEY FRED: I put a Corvette master cylinder on my 38 Lafayette running drum rear and disk front. I put in residual valves in front and rear both and got better braking power, they don't cost that much, and you need all the STOP you can get.....DAVE
