Master Cylinder bore size question

I'm going to be replacing the single circuit master cylinder in my '62 Lark with a dual circut for safety. This coincides with a Chevy V8 engine swap. I want to go aftermarket because the old Studebakers use an odd size brake fitting. My question is regarding bore size. The stock Studebaker M/C has a 1" bore. These are manual brakes and I will be using the stock pedal setup. Does that mean I should just stay with a 1" bore and everything will work the same? Thanks.

Yes, stay with the 1" bore unless you are planning to install a booster or change the brakes at the wheels.
