Material question.
I want to redo my seats in my 87' 4x4 s10.It has 2 buckets up front and they are old worn and faded.I would like to redo them in vinyl,with electric blue piping.What kind of vinyl should I be looking for ? Would the stuff that my local hobby lobby has work ? And where can I find premade piping in that color ? Or will I have to make my own ? Here is what I would like the finished product to look simular to.
 For the record I do not own,or claim to own this photo...I liked the way it looked but not the piping color so I used Gimp to change the piping color to my liking.

To get the color that you want, you will have to make the welt yourself. There are all kinds of places on the internet to buy automotive upholstery grade vinyl. Here's one: CLICK HERE I would steer away from Hobby Lobby.
If you don't have any luck finding the right color blue, send me a PM. I can get whatever color you want and make it into welt for you if you want.

Look into the 'Whisper' vinyl brand on that site that Dan recommended. I actually believe Joann Fabrics sells Whisper but in limited colors (Black, White, Cappuccino, Merlot?). You can purchase it online and use their 50% off coupon for one item. One color of vinyl counts as one item regardless of the number of yards. Whisper is a very nice product and it's also mildew reistant and UV stabilized.

Doug is right, Whisper is nice stuff. Most of the modern vinyls are very nice and user friendly. One of my suppliers just showed me a 100% polyurethane (like Ultraleather) that breathes. It is nice looking stuff also, but very pricey.

Dan,quick question about a machine; My great grandmother gave me a machine that she bought new in 41 ? I think she said ??? It's a singer,and I was just wondering if there is a walking foot attachment available for it, and if it could be used for doing the above mentioned seats ?

The machine above does not appear to be a walking foot. A true walking foot machine is inherently built that way. There is no attachment per say that you can stick on to transform a non-walking foot machine into one. On a typical home machine, they advertise walking foot attachments, but again, in the true sense, this is not a walking foot machine. The machine above would have a hard time sewing anything more than 2 layers of vinyl.
