Post Max Speed 65, downhill 70

I got a a Suzuki Samurai. Basically a toy jeep. The motor is a 1.3 4 banger taking up a whole 80.8 CI (1324 CC) Super small!!! It tops out on the highway at 65 when there is absolutely no wind. I can hold it at 40 with the tac hitting 4 grand, and the motor is wound tighter than a clock. If it goes beyond 5 grand, the motor would probably lock up.

I take my other vehicle when traveling the highways. But sometimes i need the Samurai.

So could i change the rear end gears or tranny gears to get better seeds on the highway without red lineing the motor?

If so, is there a way to make it have low end tourque and highend speed? not talking 100MPH, more like 75.

At anyrate, something has to change or this motor gunna sieze on the hwy.

Overall goal is to put a bigger motor in there, but not enough money right now. So need a 'quick fix' to make it hwy usable. Expensive to put a 327 with dual headers into an 80.8 (with single exhost) hole
