I split off your post since you ask a question on a different vehicle application than the thread you hooked into

So, are you speaking for a 2004 Auto RX8? I will primarily be using this as a street car, and i want to get more launch out of the hole if I have to "shut someone up" persay =]

My only problem with my RX8 is that when i lay on the pedal at a complete stop, it stalls for a few seconds, and then launches; even if my traction control is turned off.

The only mods I have right now as far as performance is concerned is a K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake.

Thanks,

JonRX8

JonRX8 ... you are posting to old threads where no body is talking about a RX Mazda car cept you.

I have gathered your 2 posts here in one thread.

I would suggest you call a major performance converter company to find what you are looking for in a torque converter. You may need to send in your core for modifications
