me and my baby

my baby is my 75 chevy Nova that i love to death, she still has the original straight six engine and still runs ok. I'll be 20 next month, and i'v been saving since i got the car at 16, so now it's time to start rebuilding. Only problem is I have no clue where to start, sooo that's why i'm here

Welcome to Hotrodders. Ask your questions in the appropriate forums and you should get the answers that you are looking for. I always start by rebuilding the suspension and brakes and steering....then I move on to the other things.

Welcome to Hotrodders.com I know how you feel. I got my '73 Olds Omega in '75 and over the years I have done many things to it, some things more than once. Start with what needs the most attention, safety wise, if any. Brakes, fuel, etc. If that is o.k., start where ever your finances allow you to start. Sit down and try to imagine what you want to do with the car in the long run. V8 swap, suspension mods, exhaust upgrades, wheels/tires, body mods, upholstery, paint....I think the paint should be one of the last things done since it's harder to work around the car with that new high dollar paint job! Good luck!
