Even Older!
Hi guys,
Sorry I didn't run across this a couple of years ago, but I don't think I got a notification.
That's the way it goes sometimes.
I happened to google something which popped this thread up so I thought I'd say hi.

I drop in from time to time checking out one thing or another, though I haven't been doing so too much lately.

I picked up a nice Laser Red '94 GT convert. 'Stang a couple of years ago with a bunch of nice mods. (MM suspension stuff, Cobra brakes, and a few engine goodies.) Gives me something to tool around with. I'm thinking of cruising back to the midwest, Iowa and maybe Wisconsin, this summer in it, might even get up to Canada, who knows.

I'm still working away on the '65, though it's gone really slowly. It is about ready to mate the front and rear clips though. ('bout time huh?)
I joined the Vintage Mustang Owners Association here in Silicon Valley and some of the members have helped me out with parts for the '65, that helps.

I'm hoping to get it on the road before I hit 80, but who knows. ;) Actually I'm hoping for late in the summer but no guarantees.

It's nice to see some of the old crowd is still around.

In any case, thanks for the b'day wishes, even if I am a little late responding.

Good to hear from you after all this time  Keep them pics updated and don't be a stranger for so long.

Well every 10 years or so ain't that bad!n

I just turned 76.
Had a pretty good party too as my Son just turned 32 and we had a party together on the 19th (sat).

Unfortunately the '65 hasn't budged an inch since I last posted. :-(

The '94 got totalled by a kid in a pick-up truck nearly in front of my house.

I decided to upgrade to a Cobra which turned out to be a bigger deal than I thought it would be. After discovering the '96 I got cheap wasn't fixable I bought a '97 rolling chassis from a guy in S. Carolina and moved all the good parts to make 1 good car.

It ran OK for about a year and then the head gasket gave up the ghost. 2 engines later I got it back on the road. What an ordeal. I now have a couple of extra Teksid blocks sitting in the garage.

The upside is I learned more than I ever wanted to know about modern computer controlled cars!

I check in here occasionally looking for answers for yet another problem but I haven't been posting on the web much.

Good to see there are still some of the old crew around.
