Statics is tough alright but if you pass Dynamics, you are just about guaranteed an engineering degree! Ain't any harder classes you will encounter.

i found finite element analysis harder that dynamics. also i never got to be best friends with laplace.... thermodynamics on the other hand, that was actually not to bad...

I thought you might find some of these handy.

They are excel spreadsheets I made to mess with some stuff (the Ackermann one I got from RaceTech).

The 4-link calculator was made for 4x4's but should work jsut fine for any triangulated 4-link.

That is a very good site on Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Calculators , and is in the Knowledge Base on this site.
Their is a bunch of others is in the Knowledge Base, its worth surfing sometimes when your bored.

yea...dynamics was cake. Thermodynamics might not have been bad, but the professor I had was the only person the US patent office goes to with patents related to high end thermo and fluid dynamics. His goal was to weed out anyone he could.

...luckily, FEA wasn't too bad for me. Of course, I had already been working at MSC.Software for a year or so before I took it . . . (and I'm still there )
