I would look for a frame from an Chevy S-10 long box truck. It will likely need adjusting to the correct wheel base, but it easier to shorten a longer frame than find pieces to add into a short one. I have a buddy
who did an Issuzo truck frame under a 36 Dodge coupe, and it went well. He made body supports, and modified the frame to the correct dimensions. Just make sure the frame splices are gusseted well-
