60yr old semi-retired guy from the Cincinnati Ohio region. Just bought a 1950 Chevy pick-up truck to fix up. Have several questions in regards to the motor, the 6 volt- 12 volt conversion, etc.
my engine has serial no. 0945635F547 I cannot find the details regarding the year nor cu inch size ( original was 216 cu in). from what i read there should be several letters before these numbers, but there were none.. I need to get a water pump and fan as well as an alternator got it. Can anyone tell me what year and size the engine is??
