Hello DV. This is Adrian again. I haven't talked with you in a long time. Hope all is well. My sons 1985 chevy truck is still going strong! He still loves it. We got another project now. Its a 1998 k 1500. Got a question for you. The oil cooler lines appear to be leaking somewhere near the radiator. The oil lines are saturated somewhere near the fittings or possibly the hose itself. I read a post you had that said you would do away with the cooler all together. I was thinking the same thing. Is there a part from summit or other parts house that replaces that adapter with the line connections. I've read people just plug up the fittings but some say if the bypass in the filter clogs the filter could blow off the block. Also, if we do away with the cooler do I have to take the lines off and plug connections at the radiator? Some say to remove lines at the radiator I would have to lower front axle assembly to get to the front fittings? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

DV - I really liked the suggestion you had on how to build up my 307. I just really dont understand how heads, valves and the cam work i guess. With everything you suggested, would they all just fall into place? Do i need to have a certain size valve? What a bout a sggested valve spring? Im still in the learning process and i apologize if im bothering you, but out of all the posters you seem the most knowledgable. Thank you for your time.
