Many thanks. I haven't had a chance to do anything with the S10 because of working too many hours and college. I have seen bare heads online. My question would be if I can take the valves out of the swirlies and put in the vortecs? I already have a set of vortec springs made for high lift cams. Thinking the valves (locks, etc.) will work fine esp since I may have to change the springs anyways. I also agree with you on many things, people trash a lot of things that work, not looking to too much HP for towing, & lower compression will be the way to go. Thinking about dropping in new pistons & rods & using 64cc heads (since they are most common). If I install forged pistons, I can always turbo charge it later. Going to bit the bullet though and buy studs & good head gaskets. Thinking 10 psi should do the trick with either the 1103 summit or 268 comp cam. If you want to get other opinions, that would help me with trying to monitor the link. Thank you again. Sean
