Hi guys it has been a while since I posted, but I guess that is a good thing. Means nothing broke yet. I have a basic question about my damper. I have a Street Pro damper on my 454 and I want to make sure I am timing this thing right. On the damper it goes from 0 to 80 but does not say before or after. Now my timing plate on the engine is the old one. 0 in the middle and aft, and before numbers. When timing the engine do I just go by the 0 on the plate and 0 on the damper as base line. Now I checked it with vac. disconnected an the engine pointer was way before the numbers on the damper started. And went up very little if at all when at 3500. I did move the distributor some and got it to ten on the damper an 0 on the engine. Now at 3500 it is going to about 26. running idle is not bad but not as responsive driving. I know you guys can help me for sure. Thanks
