    I'm still breathing and kicking LOL

    Ive been really busy with, car shows, cruising, swap meets, Working on old and new customers hotrods , and engine builds ( 64,65,86,75 Vets, some Mopars, old Buicks, OLDs, AMCs, Studabakers, ETC!! + my cars and the YES DEAR I WILL things! LOL! Every summer is like this and I'm not on the computer much!!!! I do check in a couple of times a month and its still the same old questions that can be answered by just looking up old threads nothing really new!! LOL! After the weather grows cold and the days short I'll be back on again almost every night!

    Hows your Vet comeing? And I hope your doing great!

    If I'm in that area I'll stop by for sure! You have a great time! Years ago I would go to other states just for even a one day show but now that I'm at this age I just can't do it it takes too much out of me. I missed the last 2 Woodward cruises and the last Down River cruise!!!!

    rick colwell had the" chicken cpe" yellow 32Had not heard about ragman lately.except he had moved further out in "lost nation; near osseo mi. Ken built a 38 chevy that WAS a chicken cpe. We had dinner with him And jane last two fish fries they have nearby here. take care Chris.Our show is in downtown ypsi/riverside park sat nite and sunday all day , if you come down look me up i'll be riding a green golf cart. see ya bob

    The RAG MAN ( Kulakowski ) LOL He worked in Ecorse at a trim shop, He did cars for the Alexander Brothers, Bill Hines, Chuck Miller ETC, I remember him ! Sad if true but I heard he passed away.

    The Chicken coop, (1938 Chevy Coupe) your talking about Kenny Callison!! worked at Ford And started the "I Did It" Company in his garage, I saw him a few year ago at a show. His shop # is (517) 424-0577, I think he lives in Tecumseh mich.

    Paul Klein I remember LOL He had a BAD A S S FORD sedan !!!!!
    It was a wildly flamed ’39 standard Ford Sedan with 440 Mopar power and drive train I remember it was a '39 I thought it was a '40 when I was parked next to him at a show and he corrected me LOL!

    Chris i want to ask you if you might remember these two guys? One was Ray kulakowski ,think a friend or Aquaintance of paul klein paul had a 40 ford two door Ray had 30s cpe all i can remember.they joined ypsilanti area street rods lonnnggg time go.THINK THEY WERE FRIENDS OF " THE CHICKEN CPE/ ELWELL/. COWELL? SOMETHING like that.we are inviting old original members to out may 4th show in ypsi.if anything dawns on you please let me know bob s~~~~~~~ special attraction at this car show take care Chris

    I'm going to try and start the old piston pushers club back up! its not registered on MHRA any more, and I have some old never used or painted plaques! Packy and I are the last ones alive I was told! a cub with no meeting no officers and no bylaws !! Just guys that own and love Hotrods! And that was an old rumor about Jumbo He cut and run only a couple of people ever knew he moved and everyone was guessing what happened to him! There were a lot of different storys!!

    Ihad forgotten "jumbo" Ryiles someone said they found him along A roadside near where he lived ..this has been 25 years ago..for sure His eyeblls were hanging out of his head and laying near a m/c I had an idea he was a user His wife was one really pretty gal thats all i can remember,[other than he was Agreat interior guy!     Jumbo Was the big guy on Telegraph Rd. I used to stop by his place all the time with Joe Zambeck, and Rick Bennet, He moved to a warmer state guite a few years ago, Jerry Riles I haven't even heard his name mentioned for many years! I'll be missing the Autorama this year:( You have Fun!

    Hey Chris!! i haven't seen you around hre for awhile. I got to thinking about A couple of guys.you may know what happened to them.Here goes.I had "jerry ryles"in inkster do great burgundy interior for me in the 80s, And what happened to the big dude.that did my black 57 interior on the corner of telegraph and ford rd.What was his name. Have Good weekend at the auto ramma, and that wonderful warmth of the sun again. For 2 cents, i would go to fla next winter and leave her here by hersel. heh he bob s
