I am in the process of installing an LQ9 motor in my 57 Chevy Truck. I have a TCI rolling frame that was originally engineered for a 350 motor. I purchased a motor mount conversion kit for the LS type motor but after installing the conversion mounts an installing the motor on the rolling frame I found that the firewall on the cab hits the back of the motor. If I flip the brackets around it will move the motor up 4 1/4" but then i am going to have issues with getting the radiator to fit and have enough clearance for fan and shroud. If anyone out there has done an LS conversion on a tri-five chevy truck I would greatly appreciate your input. Thanks!
