Got a few questions for you. I'm wanting to rebuild the motor in our Sprint car for this season. Currently it has a SBC 350 +.040, Scat 3.75 crank and 6" Lunati rods. The block needs another bore to +.060 because of pitting. AFR suggested using their 227/65cc Eliminator head (AFR 227cc SBC Eliminator Race Ready Racing Heads 1068). Of course we are running alcohol so the motor needs to run high compression. I am keeping the crank and rods but having to rebore I will need new pistons. The pistons that came out of it are Hypers and I want forged. I am looking at the Probe SRS Forged Pistons #13719-060 and adding a roller cam for 4000-7500 RPM. Can you give me some suggestions on the pistons and cam and any other info you can spare? Thank you.
