Vinnie...if BigMo doesn't bring down that CR on his build he's gonna detonate that thing into pieces. Pump gas cant support 11.5 - 12 CR. I think everyone has at least given him a heads up. Oh, got my engine back together and in...I'll post some pics later and see if I cant get a video up of her running. Wish our snow was gone I'd take her for a test drive and liven up my neighborhood...LOL

you will need to get all the anti freeze off the metal as it is greasy.
Nothing will stick to it. I'd use a propane torch,, then wash with laquer thinner.
    (not "mineral spirits")

Is the corroded hole now irregular? The frost plug goes in ans stays with enough tension but leaks.around the edges.. or the hole is now over size so the frost plug goes in way to easy. Not enough tension to hold it.

I have fixed cylinder ehads with liquid glass. (its like muffler cement only thicker) yo get to at CTC or home hardware. Tech Steel

A good epoxy will work too but the rust must be removed from the cast iron.
Just epoxy the frost plug in once the hole is cleaned up.

I have also repaired a lot of stuff using "Seal All' too. Sometimes it takes more than one attempt.
Slow curing but fixes a lot of pesky stuff.
