mercury cougar XR7 engine swap
id like to upgrade the 4.6ltr v8 engine in my cougar to something with a lot more horsepower!!!
is there a straight forward transplant i can use which will mate up with my standard transmission ?? any ideas please

There are many ways that you can upgrade the 4.6. Depending on how fast you want to go, anything from a simple rear gear ratio change to a FORD RACING PARTS blower to a 5.4 32V transplant is possible.
Anything the MUSTANG boys do to theirs, you can do to the Bird.
