Mercury switch replacement

I am planning to put under hood and trunk lights in my 47 Ford coupe. I was going to use OEM switches from the local junk yard. I see on the internet that older model cars used mercury switches in these aplications. I also see a lot of information about programs (EPA etc) to replace the mercury tilt switch for a ball bearing type switch, but no where do they tell you where to get the replacement switch. So to make a long story short, and since I am somewhat environmentally friendly, does anyone know where to purchase these switches?

Parts department at an auto dealer. All of the majors have been replacing these for years and would have the ball bearing type switch.

Well there is a problem with both type, under acceleration the light in the trunk can go on and off. No big deal but still annoying. You might consider a micro switch placed where the trunk hinge could activate it.

Just a thought
