If set-up properly between 350 to 475

The merlin 509 crate motor which has the same heads as yours, similar cam, compression, intake, ect, has 540 hp that comes out to a little under 1.1 hp/cubic. A 540 with the similar combo should do that too. So you could probably figure around 550-600hp. Your motor has a little more cam and it is a mech roller instead of a hyd flat tappet in the 509 crate motor, so you might be closer to 600-650.

I agree with firestone.

The Merlin 540 is one AWSOME motor, and if its been tweaked properly.....man 'o man!

Here's a link to the "factory" motors to help you to compare what you have with what is known.

I'm seriously looking at the 509 iron head myself. Even though its their "base" motor, I don't see how you can beat the price for what you receive!

P.S. - I have a friend who has relatives in the Netherlands, are you related to any Puerto Ricans?!!! :)
