metal flake gun?

I will be spraying a drag boat -- primer, basecoat, clear/flakes (.015). I am trying to figure out what gun would be good for flakes -- Do I need a suction cup gun, or will a gravity gun work for flakes? -- HVLP or no? I would like to get a gravity feed gun but I would think the flakes would build up in the bottom and clog the hose. I am pretty new to this so any advice would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks

Try www.oldschoolflake.com, he designed his own gun but it is not cheap. I believe it is around $200 from www.coastairbrush.com I haven't sprayed much flake, can be mixed in clear and sprayed with a gravity feed spray gun and a 2.0 tip on the gun.

a gravity feed will work fine. you will need a large tip. atleast 1.7 to 2.0. you just need to train youself to constanly keep the gun moving around when shooting flakes otherwise they will settle and clog the head. only onther option os osf's gun or get an agitator cup.
