metal paint stripping

Hi, im wondering if there is such a thing as a metal paint stripper.
My friend has something he wants me to paint and i thought it would make
the job easier. the paint is like 50 years old. I heard there is such a thing as wood paint stripper but havent heard of a metal paint stripper. id want it to work good, then i would media blast it after.

POR-15 makes a product called POR-Strip, used it many times, excellant product, a little pricey but you get what you pay for usually. They make great automotive products in my opinion.

Try your nearest auto paint store, most carry small cans of [air craft stripper] and products that are in spray cans .
