See the attached picture.....this is a piece of the sail panel part of a quarter panel from a 68 Firebird. This is the edge of the quarter that meets the roof gutter. I would like to copy this piece out of new metal but am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can duplicate the "flange" or "bump" part of the piece. I have a basic pneumatic flange tool but the flange shape it makes the bump doesnt end up tall enough/deep enough. i guess if I had a deeper flange tool it would look much closer but? Any ideas? thanks.

Could you take a router and make a form out of wood, then hammer it out.
Maybe some oak. Then something out of metal the shape of the roundish part, and hammer that into the metal. 20 gauge will work, and it can be bent fairly easy. heres a little something on hammering.
