Few questions on this stuff. Its still made, I know it is, but where can you get it. The local upolstry guy isn't exstremely smart, nice or very helpful and his exact words were "They stopped makin' that 30 years ago, did you just crawl outta'ya grave er somethin' and whats that thing on your head?" So now you know why I'm here most of the time.

Anyway Is this stuff UV sensetive to a fault? How would it stand up on a MC seat? How much like patent leather is it? Thinking of using it in a vehicle and maby on my MC seat later on if I can find it. Thanks for the help.

Hey HK! I know what you mean, I feel in love with the metalflake vinyl 30 years ago when I got my first custom banana seat for my bicycle!I think that this material would be period perfect for my gasser project!

Note that it says "retail" price, so upholstery shops pay half that price. You should be able to find a place that would sell it for cheaper than that. I actually bought some of that stuff to recover a couch i was going to put in my showroom at the shop. I think that would be pretty damned cool to have a sparkley couch in the showroom of an interior shop. Havent actually got around to recovering it though.

Years ago I thought about recovering a set of vintage drums I had with it. But went with solid sheet plastic. Cheaper.
