I could live trap a shoe box full of mice and send them to you. so you can keep it in fresh meat.

when I was a kid there were a fair number of stray cats in the neighborhood; never had a problem with mice.

I hate cats but the best so far for me is to have a few outside cats around. I also make it a point to check and drive my cars in the fall and winter. Keeps the mice from getting to comfortable. All kidding aside the cats do a heck of a job.

Cats are good, but they don't stay around my place very long.

Last winter I had the engine block heater plugged in on my Cummins. Dam gray tree squirrel found himself a warm home, ate up a bunch of wiring, tore the heck out of the sound deadener padding on the firewall, **** all over the place

Mice

If anyone recalls an old (early 60's) cartoon that featured two mice named Pixie and Dixie and a cat named Mr Jinx - I keep being reminded of Mr Jinx's signature line:

"I HATE MEESES - TO PIECES!"

mice repellant

I ve been told that peppermint oil soaked cotton balls are a good mice repellent, and they smell nice. My wife said she has never seen any mice evidence in the garden where the peppermint grows
