Mickey Thompson Tires - E/T Street - Bias Ply vs Radial

I'm looking to buy M/T E/T Street Drag Radial tires but as many of you may know there was a factory moving situation that is causing a backorder of several months for those tires. Won't be available until the fall I guess.

They do have the bias ply Street Drag tires though - many available.

Question: for a Street Muscle car like mine - should I stick with Radial tires all around or go ahead and get the Bias Ply tires? I want the E/T Street Drag tires in the back because they will hook up better then a everyday driver street tire because they have softer compound and more rubber on the road.

What is better for my Street Muscle Car? Radial or Bias Ply - or doesnt it matter.

Ditto what Double says, running 31x18.5's at 18#'s on the street and have dropped them way down to 9 or 10#'s, bead screws inside and outside.
