Yes you can, the aluminizing will burn off...use stainless wire. You will have better results if you wire wheel off the AL first from the joint.

I think I'll try a little piece without the SS wire first. Since I'm going to town anyway I'll get the SS wire and see how that works too. BTW, I'm sorry to say that I DID NOT use the search function. Brain Fade, I guess ! Thanks again !! 454 RATTLER |
