MII power rack

I am running an MII power rack with out the pump or hoses hooked up,
I decided to do this after reviewing threads here that some liked it OK for light rods. So far I like it.

I would like to know if or what I should do to lube the rack. Right now there are no lines running to it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

There was a thread yesterday where somone mentioned filling the rack and hoses with power steering fluid and then connecting the hoses together so the fluid will just flow back and forth and keep everything lubricated. Never tried it but it sounds logical.

My 36 was set up that way when I bought it.
I never noticed any problems because of it.
I replaced it with manual steering after a few weeks because of ripped boots and leakage.
The car weighs 3100 lbs. with a Small Block Chevy.
