MII steering question

On a MII IFS, what is the difference between a Mustang rack and a Thunderbird rack? I see several places advertising both, but no explanation as to the difference is given. Is it a width/mounting or pressure/use issue?

Thanks
Bill

1982-88 TBird power rack = 15 1/2" mounting whereas 1974-78 MII power rack is 16".
I believe a TBird is a one-piece unit / MII = 2 piece.

Ask them what the Lock to Lock is on the column end, more turns is better, slower ratio and I think the T-bird has 3 1/4 turns
