mII suspenison question

While puting on some 1in narrowed arms I noticed that my stock pinto c/m had some welding done in the center and now know why it seems different than the other ones I have seen. Does anyone know the stock with? Mine is about 14 1/2 inches from the lower a-arm pivot bolts and the 3 hole rack center tube is 2 in.
thanks.

This is just a guess but as narrow as a Anglia is........your crossmember has been narrowed so it would try and get the tires under the fender. Stock tread width on MustangII and Pintos measure right at 56".

now I know why my frame doesn't pass through the c/m but is butt welded to it. The c/m has been narrowed and the spring hats are closer together then normal. It's a little scary to say the least. I will have to work something out with gussets. thanks
